These terms and conditions (Terms) apply to the purchase of goods marked on our website and available to purchase as “Online Only” or “Supplier Direct”. These purchases are referred to herein as an “Online Only order”.
These Terms apply in conjunction with our , in the event of an inconsistency these Terms apply.
References to 'us' and ‘we’ mean Harris Scarfe Pty Ltd (ABN 83 095 018 803) ('Harris Scarfe') and include its related bodies corporate and associates as those terms are defined in the Corporations Act 2001 and references to 'you' mean you, the consumer.
By placing an Online Only order, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms.
Delivery
Delivery times may vary and any estimates provided are subject to stock availability and delays which are beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to postal delays and force majeure events).
You must ensure there is clear and safe access for delivery. Please ensure there is a person present at the delivery premises who is authorised by you to accept delivery. If there is not, we will endeavour to deliver the goods anyway (if we consider it is safe and appropriate to do so).
No returns for Change of Mind
Due to the nature of Online Only orders, Harris Scarfe is unable to provide customers with a refund due to a change of mind.
Consumer Guarantees
All goods purchased from Harris Scarfe come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If there is a problem with an item you have purchased from Harris Scarfe you can return it to us.
Online Only orders cannot be returned to stores. In order to return an Online Only order please contact our customer care team.
After receiving your faulty item Harris Scarfe will assess the fault and will offer a full refund or replacement if there is major problem with the item. We may offer of a repair or replacement if the problem is not major.
You must provide us with your proof of purchase (e.g. your Harris Scarfe receipt, online tax invoice, credit card or bank statements). Any refund will be provided via the same method of payment as the original purchase.
Please note that Harris Scarfe is not responsible for any postage costs associated with returned goods, except in cases where the items have been recalled or you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
To assist us in resolving any problems you may experience, please inspect the goods upon taking delivery and report any shortage, discrepancy, defect, wrong specification or similar problem to us as soon as you become aware of it.
What is the Privacy Policy?
In order to process your Online Only order Harris Scarfe will collect your personal information. All personal information will be managed in accordance with our privacy policy which can be viewed here.
By placing an Online Only order with us, you consent to us providing your name, contact details and delivery address to third parties (including our suppliers or delivery contractors) for the purpose of fulfilling and delivering your order. Inconsistency in Terms and Conditions
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any other terms and conditions, document or policy, these terms will take precedence.
Changes to Terms
Harris Scarfe reserves the rights to change these Terms without prior notice.
